I love dogs. My dog’s name was Wire Dog. I loved him. I gived him kisses every day. One day it was time to give Wire Dog a bath, so I let the bathtub run and I took and I put some good smelling stuff in there. He did not wanted to because I learned him to holla hoop and now that is all he wants to do it every day. Well I can not get him to do it alone so I do it with him. We make splashes and bubbles. It’s fun to have a dog but it’s not fun to buy him food, but I guess that’s just the way it is.
When Ellen was 9 years old her parents wouldn't let her have a real dog, so she made one out of wire and started writing Wire Dog stories. Now Wire Dog stories are read, written and illustrated by children and professional authors and illustrators all around the world.
